A cozy stay in Madrid's heart
The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the Plaza de España and Gran Via. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, presenting us with a lovely surprise of wine in our room upon arrival. Our room was also spotless and comfortably furnished, making for a delightful stay. Don't miss out on the delicious breakfast options at the nearby café!
However, the bathroom was a bit cramped and could use an upgrade, and the sound from the street sometimes made it difficult to get restful sleep. There were also a few minor maintenance issues that could easily be fixed.

Loved the cleanliness of my room! It felt cozy and comfy. It was easy to walk to Plaza Espana. Just wish it had a bit less street noise at night. 😴

i almost wanted to leave a glowing review, but the small room and dreadful noise from the street just ruined it. i would have expected complimentary earplugs or a room upgrade, but apparently that’s too much to ask! the wi-fi malfunctioning after 10pm was just the cherry on top of this subpar experience.

The room felt cramped, especially with a small bed wedged between the walls. getting around was tricky, no window added to the claustrophobic vibe. Street noise echoed all night, with traffic and shouting keeping me up. Maintenance had issues, with broken locks that seemed easily fixable but weren't. The purple decor throughout felt out of place, clashing with the unique old architecture.

Just a proper fit for a transient stop in Madrid with decent value for money. The place was really clean, maybe one of the cleanest I've ever stayed in! Avoid rooms facing the street if you want a quieter night.

Just a hop, skip and a jump from the Plaza de España, this place is a real gem! The staff was super nice, always ready to help out. I loved the room—spotlessly clean with comfy amenities. Ope, gonna miss that cozy vibe! Just be warned, the street noise can be a bit much at night.

The location couldn't be better for our family of nine! We loved being just a stroll away from cultural attractions like the Prado Museum. The staff was incredibly welcoming and even surprised us with a lovely wine for our special stay. The room was clean enough for our needs.
My wife says that it would be great to have a small play area for the kids.

Had an amazing stay with a group of friends! The staff were welcoming and truly went out of their way to make us feel at home. We explored cultural highlights like the Prado Museum and enjoyed our nights at local cafes. The WiFi was reliable, and it was super close to the metro and shops, which made it easy to get around.
One downside was the noise from the street. Although we enjoyed our stay, it could get pretty loud at night making it hard to sleep well after a long day of sightseeing.

An excellent base for exploring, ideally located just minutes from public transport and restaurants. The room was clean and included essential amenities like air conditioning and reliable Wi-Fi. A minor drawback was some street noise during the night, which could be bothersome for light sleepers. But with so much to see and do nearby, the vibrant atmosphere was worth it. Enjoyed delicious Bernese sausages at a local eatery, enhancing the overall experience.

This place was more like a hotel than a hostel! The room was really comfortable and had a modern bathroom. Free Wi-Fi. The reception staff were super helpful and provided great advice for sightseeing. The location is ideal, just a 5-minute walk from the central plaza and with a subway station nearby.
The only downside was some street noise at night.
